Greetings Parents,
Welcome to Lee University Early Learning Center (ELC) where we hold a standing vision to provide high quality child care
to Lee's faculty and staff. I joined the Lee family in August 2006 to help facilitate a dream already in motion of
providing a beneficial and progressive on-campus child care program for Lee's employees. I came to Lee with a lifetime
of experience in the child care setting and ten years of experience as a professional child care provider.
Not only does ELC want to benefit Lee's working families, the program also provides on-campus jobs for Lee students. By hiring students majoring in the fields of Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, etc., ELC offers an opportunity for these students to obtain on the job training and put their fresh ideas and knowledge to work. This enriches the program greatly along with our curriculum, and most importantly, our children.
I work very closely with my staff to create a safe and stimulating environment for the children. Our program is specifically designed to encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth of young students. During inside free-play, small group activities, and inside/outside large motor activities, the staff provides a rewarding environment for each child. Our goal to provide a high quality and enriching program that both parent and child will enjoy. Additional benefits include low child/adult ratios, engaged caregivers, flexible daily routines, and convenience.
We welcome your involvement and participation in this program. You are your child's first teacher and we are honored that you allow us the opportunity to play a part in your child's development.
Please feel welcome to call or email to schedule a tour of our facilities and/or have any of your questions answered.
